Spatial Awareness
So men have better spatial awareness than women- it's been proved scientifically. Ask a man to pack the car and he'll get loads more in than a woman. Ask him to wash the dishes and he'll fit three plates on the rack and 'have to stop', because there's 'not enough room to do any more'. Get a woman to do the washing up and she'll pile em high just to get the job done - so what's that about?

It's because most blokes are trying to prove that there's enough space for a dishwasher...
Hmmmm!
I'm surprised at you!
Over the years I'm the one that has built soaring turrets of mugs, representations of the Massif Central using pans, pin cushion stalagtites with cutlery and interstitial textures using tupperware lids, peelers, plastic figurines and strange items of kitchenware from LakeLand - all on the drainer whilst your Mama has simply occupied all flat surfaces within an arm stetch with a monolayer then gone off for a "Quiet Time" on the sofa.
You're obviosuly getting old if you've already engaged the 'Selective Memory Function' in your noodle!
Ptchah - as if !
Well obviously I was referring to how things are in my house - there's some role reversal with you and Mama - you never get sick - when she does she's dying - so obviously you're reversed in the washing up sense too! I did check with Fran and she has had my experience. So Ha!
xx
Drat!
I hate evidence based arguments!!
